Pretty good Review by Chantel

What can I say about the thread cutter? I use it often because it is such a great feature! I do not need to press hard on the foot pedal because the machine can sew hands free. My straight stitches are flawless because of the automatic plate converter. The extra long Janome 7700 arm makes me very happy too… (Posted on 13-12-08)

Even though I still have a lot to learn, the Janome 7700 has been pretty easy to figure out. I have never had any problems with the fabric being pulled or eaten up in any way. The sewing process is quite smooth. Everything about the Janome 7700 is self-explanatory since it is very easy to operate. I can use the machine manual to learn how to use each foot to create the best stitch depending on what I need it for. The explanations are great. Even though I have yet to complete all my sewing lessons, I managed to produce a beautiful pillow for the family room sofa on my first attempt. Not only do I have the best sewing and quilting machine, I also enjoy its reliability and ease of use. (Posted on 13-12-08)
Good for me Review by Barb

It is much easier for me to do an appliqué because of the good blanket stitches it produces. Not only is the work area large enough, there is also an excellent screen. The thread cutter comes in quite handy and the resulting stitches look good. I have learnt a lot since my first enjoyable lesson that I received with my purchase. I cannot wait to get started on my quilt! (Posted on 13-11-30)

I have been very happy with my choice of machine since I bought the Janome 7700. It is a good quality machine for quilting and sewing and did not cost over $4000. I was looking for a trouble-free machine that could do good quality letters. The Janome 7700 offered me a wide variety of options for quilting stitch designs as well as high quality lettering. I was also interested in a machine with a large throat to accommodate quilts, needle down selector, and dual feed.
I love the great lighting features too. I can also access the commands directly in the Janome 7700, unlike other machines, which have many menus to go through. I love the high quality stitching which is possible because of the proper built-in walking foot. While I still have my Bernina 801 that still works, although the one that had a large throat was too expensive.
I would say that this 7700 machine is well worth the money. In addition to being quiet, it can be useful to interior decorators, sewers, and quilters. For its versatile nature, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new machine. Take a Janome 7700 for a test run before looking into buying other machines. (Posted on 13-11-28)

The best feature of this machine for me is the thread cutter. However, I also love the storage for my feet as well as accessories because they are great. The stitches it produces are straight and uniform. It is impressive how quiet the machine is when running. (Posted on 13-11-26)

I am always happy when sewing with my Janome 7700. The machine has superb throat space and allows me to wind bobbins while the machine is being threaded. The extra lights are perfect too. (Posted on 13-11-25)

I really love this sewing machine with its long arm. I have used it to make three quilts since I bought it. The thread cutter is my favorite component. In addition, its lighting is superb. I give the Janome 7700 a rating of 5 stars, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent sewing machine. (Posted on 13-11-02)
Not the cheapest but worth every penny Review by Gail

I have considered other sewing machine brands but the Janome 7700 Horizon I felt was far more superior. The resumption setting for me is a wonderful feature because it enables the machine to re-start with the last settings I had been using. While it can be turned off, I prefer leaving it on. When I sew with the acufeed walking foot on, and having adjusted the needle position appropriately, I can always find the machine where I left it even after turning it off. Despite having read some reviews complaining about the acufeed, I find it hard to agree with them because it requires very little effort; similar to changing feet. The effort is worth it because you will get excellent results. The lighting features are wonderful too.
Some brands have an extension table available for purchase as an extra, but the Janome 7700 comes with the extension table. The accessories are priced competitively, and can be added to your collection as newer projects come along even if you do not need them in the beginning. In general, this machine is of superior quality, very practical but a little pricey. The competing brands in that price range do not even come close. (Posted on 13-10-31)

I started sewing 6 years ago using my Gran’s old Singer machine. I however, enjoy quilting a lot, which is why I wanted an upgrade. Enter the Janome MC7700, that my quilting friends suggested for me. Since I do lots of interior decoration and quilting, this machine is just perfect for me! My friends’ advice was great and I am glad I listened to them. The Janome 7700 for me was quite expensive but so worth it! (Posted on 13-10-12)
Lovely machine Review by Anna

Having decided to purchase a quality machine with all the works, two years from my retirement, I proceeded to shop around. I looked at Viking diamond, which was noisy when sewing, and Bernina 830LE which would be very expensive to maintain and accessorize. I also looked at the Pfaff Creative Wonder.
However, the less expensive Janome 7700 proved to be a much better machine. I found the machine sturdy, it was much easier to thread and I did not have to adjust anything before sewing. Despite that, it produced superb stitches. I realized that I did not need any other spectacular machine, because the Janome 7700 had everything I wanted. Even the thread nesting on the back is trouble-free. I can load the bobbin winder quite easily and the walking foot has excellent results. The Janome 7700 was like an answered prayer because all its varied options are just wonderful. In addition, the machine came at a much lower price than I had anticipated.
I feel that I hit the jackpot with the Janome 7700. If you buy it, you will not be sorry. Quilting will be much more fun after that. (Posted on 13-09-27)
