The Memory Craft was my mother’s gift to me for my birthday, and I’ve had it for about 2 years now. It was also my first ever machine, so I didn’t really have any expectations. It came with a well written manual, so it didn’t take a whole lot to learn how to use it, plus, to me it seems like a fool proof machine, without any issues. The threading is easy to do, the button system to start or turn off is also easy to use and my thinking is that this is as serious machine for newbies. I don’t know if I’m lucky or what, but I never had to have the machine in for service, it's always worked great for me. It’s for dummies but it’s a serious machine! (Posted on 13-06-03)

For a while my machine worked just fine, but after a while it just kept on breaking the thread. I changed the thread, thinking it was not thick enough, but even with a Floriani, a really solid thread it doesn’t seem to have gotten any better. With this thread it won’t work any embroidery, and, since that’s my main thing I now have to start looking for a new machine. Given the price, while I didn’t expect the world, I still feel kind of cheated, and I don’t know if I’ll go with Janome again. Maybe I was just unlucky. (Posted on 12-07-01)
